Happy Land Campground has been owned and operated by the Altmann family for 55 years. We pride ourselves on running a clean, quiet, well-supervised park. Campers who have previously experienced the quality of our park return time and time again to stay with us while in the Thunder Bay area. We are located on Hwy. 11/17, just 16 miles West of Thunder Bay and 1 1/2 miles East of Kakabeka Falls. For more information about our park, including maps, click on About Us.

Need Anything?

The Village of Kakabeka Falls is only a half mile from our park. There you will find a grocery store, restaurants, service stations, liquor store, post office, hair salons, churches, etc. And the city of Thunder Bay is only 16 miles away.

What is there to see?

Thunder Bay has many attractions to choose from. Fort William Historical Park is the world's largest fur trading post, always a favorite, and Kakabeka Falls, the "Niagara of the North" is a mere one and a half miles from our park.
